Design your own bridesmaids dress!

Lynn Lugo Bridal offers a fun option on their website...you can design your own bridesmaids dresses! You can choose the fabric, the cut and additional options like pinned flowers, sashes, bows etc. The dress above is one that I created! I've already decided the colours of my wedding, and I'm not even engaged yet! ;)

New cakes from Papillon!

Diana has designed a couple new designs for her cake collection! Aren't these designs just stunning?! What girl wouldn't want a bright pink cake!!? The intricate detailing of these cakes are just delicious. Look for these designs in the Winter issue of Weddingbells...congratulations Diana!!

Yoga for Weddings

As a total yoga freak, I came across this website and fell in love with the idea!! Yoga for weddings is a private yoga class service. As wedding planning and the actual wedding day can be very stressful process, classes are designed to help you and your loved ones focus, relax and enjoy this special occasion.

How does it work?

Classes are broken down into three tiers:

1. Planning stage
2. Day/week of the actual wedding
3. After the wedding

Customers may choose from any or all of the class offerings in to tailor their own wedding yoga class packages. Studio space is available for large groups. An individual class or any combination of the classes may also be chosen.

Special Features:

. Classes can have a theme, for example; special music, incense, candles, poetry and other texts may be included.
. All religious and sexual affiliations are welcome.

Wedding tips and ideas

Diana and I wanted to share some tips and ideas for your wedding day that will hopefully prove useful!

1. Something Blue  

   

Monogram your name, your fiancé's name, and your wedding date on a blue satin ribbon that you'll sew to the inside of your wedding dress.

2. Back Up  

   

Missing an earring back? Secure your earring with a broken-off pencil eraser. If there's no pencil in sight, try a small bit of cork or a piece of chewing gum (recently used, then dried).

3. Lovely Lapels  

   

If you choose sprigs that echo your bouquet or centerpieces, many florists will toss in boutonnieres for free.

 

4. Fly Girl  

   

Subdue those pesky flyaway baby-hair wisps by blow-drying around the hairline with a one-inch-diameter round brush. Then apply a firm-hold hair spray.

5. Pucker Up  

   

Sharply defined lips in bright colors are so last millennium. Go gossamer by smoothing a bit of foundation on the edges of your lips before adding color, which also prevents feathering around fine lines.

6. In Your Own Words

7. Art Hour
